Ox-bow Lakes & Bird Watching

There are many natural oxbow lakes along Sungai Kinabatangan. It is a blessing that behind our lodge is an ox-bow lake known as Danau Bilit. It will take an hour to reach the oxbow lake. You will follow our guide to jungle trek over there.

The journey will let you see a variety of flora and fauna; the bizarre Proboscis Monkey, 'Man Of The Forest' Orang Utans, macaques, gibbons, leaf monkey, crocodiles basking - and the bird life is simply amazing there - All eight of Borneo's hornbill species can be seen regularly, plus two species of the gorgeous pitas are occasionally to be spotted, and rarities include Storm's stork, and the bizarre Oriental darter or "Snake-Bird"

River Cruising

Cruising the Kinabatangan River is one of the most rewarding experience you'll get while staying at our lodge. During the cruise - you'll have the chance to observe the true beauty of fauna and flora of Kinabatangan River; in fact, many says - this is best destination to get close-up and discover the amazing wildlife and nature of Sabah, Borneo! We have morning cruise , afternoon and night cruise.

During our night river cruise safari, there will be no need for you to flash your torch lights at the animals as our staff will have a big spot light that will show you the animals. Do not tease and shout at the animals as that would frighten them away.

River Kayaking

It's an extra activity that we're sure you'll enjoy it very much - keep paddling!
